Print, TV, digital, web, photo/video, freelance, independent, rural journalists, editors, media professionals and eligible media youth/associate members may join subject to policy.
Annual organizational membership fee ₹251. Payment and administrative verification activate the final BJAC membership number and digital documents.
Members must provide truthful information, respect law and professional dignity, avoid fake identity, extortion, blackmailing, unauthorized collections and misuse of the BJAC name.
Posts are not sold. Appointments are based on verification, experience, activity, leadership, discipline, credibility and organizational contribution.
National → State → Division/Zone → District → Tehsil/Block, supported by functional cells for Legal, Women, Digital, Rural, Welfare, Accreditation, Training and Grievance work.
Member complaints receive a unique case ID and may be reviewed, escalated, represented or referred according to facts, privacy choice and BJAC policy.
Confidential complaint and safety support for workplace, field and cyber harassment concerns.
Cyber safety, account protection, impersonation, deepfake awareness, digital evidence preservation and digital journalist issues form a dedicated work area.
District, Tehsil, Block and village-level journalists will be connected to training, grievance and organizational networks.
BJAC may provide scheme information, preliminary legal guidance/referral, accident/health information and future welfare initiatives subject to resources and law.
Official payment channels, receipts, membership records, authorized office bearers, grievance tracking, financial accountability and audit trails will be maintained.
Warning, suspension, removal from post, membership cancellation or blacklisting may follow serious misconduct after appropriate review, subject to emergency protective suspension where necessary.
BJAC institutional action on journalist-rights matters will be based on facts, law and professional rights rather than party affiliation.
BJAC membership, ID, certificate or organizational post does not create Government Press Accreditation, Government employment, salary entitlement, police/administrative authority or statutory privilege.
